As CEO of Riskex for the past 20 years, I have had the pleasure of watching AssessNET grow from a single module working on dial-up, to the millions of lines of code that make today’s suite of modules successful in protecting lives and providing compliance solutions for our wide range of clients.
The agreement to work with SHP on our recent webinar, “Aligning Technology with Emerging Health and Safety Risks” was confirmed some time ago, and it is fair to say that the landscape for technology has changed dramatically since we undertook to be involved.
When we agreed to sponsor this webinar and share first-hand practical insights, it was very rewarding for me and our team to experience the energy and support from the clients that agreed to take part. I must extend my sincere gratitude to Andy Cordwell, Daniel Mossman, Michael McCallion and Bryan Joseph for generously volunteering their time to be involved, and for the great value they added to the webinar.
I also would like to thank everyone at Riskex for burning the midnight oil throughout the pandemic to ensure that AssessNET was available at all times, providing 24/7 Health and Safety protection for our clients, many of whom deliver front line services, as well as our own team. A big thank you as well to James Sharp for his tireless devotion to the business and AssessNET, and also for his valuable contribution to the webinar. Thank you also to Ian Hart from SHP, who did a great job as host of the webinar fielding the questions and providing as much insightful content for those attending as was feasibly possible.
The outcome of the webinar has been truly astonishing for Riskex. The hour-long discussion captured fascinating personal insights into the unique diversity and challenges of the business sectors involved. Above all, it highlighted the growing need for technology to help organisations adapt to the current business landscape. The questions asked and answered struck a chord with many who joined the webinar, and with over 400 attendees, it has been one of the most successful events that we have been involved with and has set a new benchmark for Riskex in terms of awareness of our heritage and how we have become a leading provider of Health and Safety software.
In the past we have been hailed as “The best-kept secret in Health and Safety” – but our 20-year history is steeped in Health and Safety expertise and many examples of cutting-edge innovation.
Being an independent business means that we can continually keep client needs at the forefront of our strategy, and professionalism and reliability at the heart of our operations.
As Riskex CEO I can assure all our readers that we are looking forward to maintaining that independence and continuing with the success story that is AssessNET.
Thank you for your continued support.
